Your document content, file paths, repository identifiers, and forge host names never leave your device. ForgeMD sends no telemetry by default.
ForgeMD talks only to the GitLab and GitHub hosts you configure, to fetch and post your own review activity: the change requests, documents and comment threads of the accounts you signed in with. It contacts no other service.
Nothing. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party resources.
The form on the front page is the one place you can hand us anything, and it hands us one thing: an email address. The form posts to this site's own domain and nowhere else, which is why no third-party script runs and no third-party resource is fetched to make it work. The address is then passed to EmailOctopus, who act as our processor: they send the confirmation email, keep the record of your consent, and store the address. It is held nowhere else.
You are not on the list until you follow the link in that confirmation email. The address is used only to send you the launch announcement. Every message carries an unsubscribe link, and the address is deleted on request.
Nothing else about your visit is recorded. Not the page you came from, not what you looked at, not the fact that you were here. The only exception is a deliberately short-lived one: to stop the form being flooded, a count of recent submissions is held for up to a minute against the connecting IP address. It contains no email addresses, is never written to disk, and is gone a minute later. The form and this site are served by Cloudflare, who see the request in order to deliver it, as any host must.
ForgeMD is made by Cloudfolks sp. z o.o. Questions about this policy: [email protected].
2026-09-05: the waitlist became a form on the page instead of a mailto link, and EmailOctopus
became its processor. The section above records what that changed.
